Even though she may deny it, she was a great mentor to me and a large part of why Chronic Victory Podcast exists today. Even the motto originated from something she told me in an email.
Mia is a leader in the pain and chronic illness community. She doesn't sit around and wait for someone to fix what she thinks needs fixing. Instead, she's the chick that storms capitol hill, signs petitions, and demonstrates true advocacy. We all need to listen to what she has to say...
